For the end part of my project I went to the location and set it all up with the help of my wonderful in-laws. For this I had to haul all of it over in my car, before the party, get it set up which I start putting it up and moving things around by looking to see if I like where it is. I keep moving everything around till it looks up to par. This comes with practice and with knowing how you want things to look. This project was so fun for me to do. It also taught me so much about myself, how I can plan and organize, and that I also can be creative in my own way and use my talents to help others. Another outcome of the party was planning organizing and communicating all of which I can carry over to my career as nurse. All the pictures are in a slide show. For this project I decided to plan, organize, make all the decorations and food for a party for client. To do this I had to sit down with my client and figure out what they wanted their party to be, from theme to colors, to decorations. This was a learning experience because it gave me an opportunity to work on my communication skills with others. It also helped me become better at organizing and planning, which all three of these will help me in my future career as a nurse. I made garland, decoration canvases, gift signs, decorated bottles, andwrote on a banner. The garland took me the longest time to make and I was glad I started this first and way before the party started. The others were fairly simple but could be time consuming. Overall I learned how much time and energy it can take to plan and organize a party. I learned that sometime you may come across items that are super awesome and you think you could make it for cheaper, and I learned that may not always be the truth. I also for this project got to make all the treats for the party. Which this was a huge task, however I had wonderful help from my in-laws making the different treats. This was great for me because it helped me to lower my work load and the stress. It also made it so I got everything done on time, and it helped me form a better relationship with my in-laws.
